How to use the Database export

Before using the Database export you must prepare your drawing for exporting to the Dbase.
To read a project:

The project must be numbered: HsbInOutput\Apply Numbering.
  • Select the hsbInOutput pull down menu and select Export\Database export
This will open the Export selection dialog box.
There are 5 options to choose from.
The most used are “Select all entities in drawing” and “Select elements in drawing” (similar to the old function).

  • Select OK. The project will be loaded into the database.
This will open the hsbDatabase dialog box.

Create a Delivery

  • Select the Delivery button in the hsbDatabase dialog box.
This will open the Delivery dialog box.

We are going to create a new Delivery by selecting File\Create Delivery from loaded model.

A dialog box will appear. Enter a delivery name and select OK.

A new delivery is created.

When you select the ‘plus’ symbols in front of the new delivery name (left side of this dialog box) you will see this will expand.

On the right side of this dialog box you can edit the amount you want to export, it is also possible to mark the elements as produced or delivered.
