Limitations

Free version

  • Limited to 60 tools
  • hsbExporter requires a separate licence.

Premium version

  • Unlimited tools
  • hsbExporter requires extra modules. (e.g. Hundegger, Weinmann, BTL)

Limitations

Case 1: All packages are free such as hsbClt and hsbTimber
Case 2: One package Premium and another Free.
Case 3: Free package is installed on the user’s computer and the user receives a drawing that contains tools of this installed package.
Case 4: One package free or Premium is installed on the user’s computer and the user receives a drawing that contains tools from another package that is not installed on the computer.

Case 1:
All packages are free such as hsbClt and hsbTimber.

The limitations of 60 tool instances is applied to each package.
This means that user could have 60 tool instances that belong to hsbTimber and 60 tool instances that belong to a hsbCLT in the same drawing (120 tools in total).
However, if a tool belongs to hsbTimber and hsbCLT, it counts as one for hsbTimber and one for hsbCLT.
For example, the user could only have 60 instances of this tool in the same drawing. (For example, hsbcad Drill belongs to hsbClt and hsbTimber). It is the message that is displayed when the user wants to create more than 60 tools.

Case 2:
One package Premium and another Free. For example, hsbTimber premium and hsbClt free.

The limitations of 60 tool instances is applied only for hsbCLT tools.
However, if a tool belongs to hsbTimber and hsbClt, it is not taking into consideration for restrictions for hsbClt in this case.
For example, the user could have 100 hsbcad Drill instances that belong to hsbTimber and hsbCLT and 60 Grain Direction tool instances that only belong to CLT in the same drawing.
The limitation is only for grain direction in this case.

Case 3:
Free package is installed on the user’s computer and the user receives a drawing that contains tools of this installed package.

The free package allows modifying tools if the drawing contains less than 60 tool instances.
If the drawing contains more than 60 tools, it is not going to allow modifying any tool.
The following message is going to display.

Case 4:
One package free or Premium is installed on the user’s computer and the user receives a drawing that contains tools from another package that is not installed on the computer.

The tools that belong to the no-install package do not allow being modified even though the document contains 1 or 60 tool instances.
The next message is displayed in this case.
