Description:

tsl is the abbreviation for Tool Script Language and is a programming language.
With the help of this programming language, you can program dynamic connection/tools (e.g. metal parts) and other dynamic applications.
When our standard tsl's are updated this will be updated in the hsbContentDutch.

Description:

This tsl converts a beam to a sheet.
This tsl uses a Catalogue.

Insert:

This tsl has to be inserted in Model space.
Before you insert the hsb_E-BeamToSheet tsl you need to insert the hsb_G-BeamToSheetCatalogue tsl first, insert is anywhere in the drawing.(see Catalog)
Then insert the hsb_E-BeamToSheet tsl, one or more elements can be selected.
The tsl can also be attached to the element definition and will be executed immediately after generation of the element.

The Catalogue:

Through the hsb_G-BeamToSheetCatalogue tsl you build a catalog, for each catalog value you must specify which beam codes (Capitol Letters) that has to be converted to sheets.
You also define to what zone the sheeting has to belong to and what color the sheeting has to be.


Example of how the BeamToSheetCatalogue could look like in a drawing.

This Catalog is automatically saved in the hsbCompany folder so anybody using this hsbCompany will have access to it.
Making the Catalog is a one off job, once made it only needs tweaking now and again.
NOTE: The BeamCode needs to be in capitol letters otherwise it will not work.

Make this in a separate dwg drawing so you can manage the catalog separately or you could manage it from your template.
The tsl hsb_G-BeamToSheetCatalogueProps is used in the background.
This has to be in a manageable drawing or your template.

The text size and dimension style of this tsl can be changed in the OPM (Properties Bar).
Position the tsl in the drawing when inserted, a content table will be made visible.

To manage the contents of the catalog there are a number of options available in the right click of the mouse (Select the Catalogue in the drawing -> right click -> Custom - Add, Edit, Remove).
Entries can be added, changed or removed. During these actions, the tsl hsb_G-BeamToSheetCatalogueProps is used.

The catalog is stored in hsbCompany / Abbund / hsb BeamToSheetCatalogue.xml and is therefore available from any of your drawings and anybody using this hsbCompany.

Via deze tsl kun je een catalogus aanleggen. Voor elke catalogus waarde moet je aangeven naar welke balkcode gezocht moet worden om balken om te zetten naar platen. Verder moet er aangegeven worden aan welke zone de plaat toegekend moet worden en welke kleur de plaat moet krijgen.
DEZE tsl WORDT GEPLAATST IN DE TEKENING

Deze catalogus wordt automatisch opgeslagen in de hsbCompany en zal dus voor iedere tekenaar die vanuit deze hsbCompany werkt beschikbaar zijn.
Het aanmaken van de catalogus betreft dus een eenmalige setup met later hier en daar een aanpassing.
Als de catalogus in de tekening staat kan er via het rechtermuisknop menu van de catalogus een catalogus waarde worden aangepast, toegevoegd of verwijderd.
Selecteer de tabel -> rechtermuis -> Custom – Add, Edit, Remove.

This tsl is used to convert beams to a different color.
This tsl uses a Catalogue.
This functionality is also available in DSP since hsbcad 2015.

Description:

This tsl Places edge information of a Roof/Floor Element at a given position.
Catalog for this tsl can be set from DSP; argument to pass should be "DspToTsl; <catalog name>".
If the catalog name is set to e.g. "VAR57", it used variable 57 to get the catalog name.
The detail name can be resolved from the variable names of roof elements. @(VAR60) will replace the detail name with the content of VAR60 of that specific detail.

Now it has a property that is set to NO as default, so it maintains the same behavior as before, but if you choose YES to “Add nails to the area extreme points” then based on the valid area you will get the number of nails that you pick… if there is one nail it will use the reference point (average of all the vertices), if there are two nails it will find the extreme points of the valid are and add a nail there.

This can be configured in a .xml file in hsbCompany\TSL\Setting folder.

Remarks:

This TSL needs a .xml file for execution.
This can be created on insert or one can be created.
The TSL's in the default .xml file are: hsb_E-Identification & Marking, hsb_E-BeamToSheet and hsb-Brace.
These TSL's are all inserted with the catalog "_Default"
When creating the .xml file, keep in mind the order of the TSL's.
The order of the TSL's will decide the order of execution.

Work flow:

1/a Creating the .xml file within the first insert of the TSL
Insert the tsl, the property dialog will appear.
The File Name property will be empty.
If this stays empty, it will create an *.xml file called RunElementTslsConfigurations.xml.
If the File name property is filled with a value, it will create a file called value.xml

 

After inserting the tsl you will be prompted to select an element.
Select the element and <ENTER>, it will give you a report.


This will show that the default file was created.
It will also state where the file is stored.
This TSL is also going to execute the default TSL's in the configuration file.
The other reports shown in this picture are reports from the default TSL's. Please see the Remarks for the default TSL's that are used in the .xml file.   

Open the .xml file
Go to the path where the .xml file is being stored. The path should look like this hsbCompany\TSL\Settings\RunElementTsls  
If you can't find it, search Windows for RunElementTslsConfigurations.xml.
To edit this file, right-click and open the file with a text editor like notepad.

 

Edit the .xml file


When you first open the created .xml file, it is going to look like this.
Here you can see all the TSL's being executed.
You could also modify the name of the TSL's will execute.
By replacing the text between the quotes after the v1= it is going to execute the TSL within the quotes.
It should look like this:

You could also change the catalog of the TSL in this file. The catalog name should be between the quotes after v1= and should look like this;

<str nm="TslCatalog" v1="<Catalog name should be here>"/>

Example, if you would like to execute "hsb_G-SplitWithBlocking" with the catalog name "BOTTOMPLATE" it should look like this.


Important to note is the order of the TSL's that are going to be executed.
It will execute the TSL's in order from top to bottom, the first TSL to be executed whould be the first one listed after the <Hsb_Map>.

The order of the TSL's in the last example will look like this: 

                1. "HSB_G-SplitWithBlocking" with the catalog "BOTTOMPLATE"
                2. "HSB_E-BeamToSheet" with the catalog "_Default"
                3. "HSB-Brace" with the catalog "_Default"

1/b Creating the .xml from scratch
Make sure you have a folder called Settings\RunElementTsls in you hsbCompany (hsbCompany\TSL\Settings\RunElementTsls)

If you don't have one create it.
Open notepad and create a new file.
Copy and past the text below.

Save this file, when you select All Files instead of Text files (*.txt) you can save it with a .xml extension.
For this example we have named it BlockingStudMarker.xml


Using the TSL
After you have created a valid .xml file, select the tsl and click on OK.
If you have created more then 1 .xml files, they should all be selectable in the drop down menu.


Select the *.xml you want to use and then an element.
After the element has been selected <ENTER>
